Recently the images of BlackBerry Onyx were spotted which revealed that the handset would be shipping with optical trackpad. The BlackBerry 9020, better known as the BlackBerry Onyx will be offered with trackpad instead of trackball claims Gizmodo.
Apparently, the shift to optical pads is a reasonable move by the company in terms of accuracy and consistency. This transition would offer a precise idea of the cursor location. It also eradicates the moving parts, thus protecting the phone from dirt, which would otherwise make the phone unusable or unresponsive.
